Police have charged a 25-year-old Waimanalo man with sexual assault in an alleged attack on a 78-year-old woman in Kaneohe last month.

The alleged assault occurred about 1:30 p.m. on May 4, police said.

Peioataataoletaeao Ainuu was arrested at his home Saturday and charged with three counts of third-degree sexual assault. His bail has been set at $25,000.

An online resume posted for Ainuu in March indicated that he was a certified nursing assistant at the Ann Pearl Nursing Facility in Kaneohe.
