Freeway crash sends 2 people to hospital

A freeway crash early this morning sent a 27-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man to the trauma center in serious condition, Emergency Medical Services said.
Paramedics responded to the scene after a vehicle driven by the woman in the Ewa-bound lanes of the H-1 freeway near Pearl City around 2 a.m. apparently rear-ended another vehicle.
The injured man was a passenger in the car that was hit, EMS said.
