Police arrest man, 71, for allegedly firing gun after argument

A 71-year-old man allegedly brandished and fired a handgun after an argument with a 46-year-old man.

Police said the argument escalated and the 71-year-old man pulled out a handgun and fired it to the ground at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Waianae.

The suspect fled, but was later located and identified. The handgun was not located. There were no injuries.

Officers arrested the suspect for suspicion of terroristic threatening and reckless endangerment.
