Boy, 9, seriously hurt in vehicle accident in Kualoa

A 9-year-old boy was seriously injured Saturday in a vehicle crash on Kamehameha Highway in Kualoa, Emergency Medical Services said.

EMS reported that a vehicle had overturned at 12:20 p.m. fronting Kualoa Ranch.

Paramedics took the boy to the trauma center in serious condition. A man refused treatment.

I had to pass by this accident, the grey full sized pickup truck was flipped on it's top............not a pretty sight........to bad a medical helicopter couldn't transport vs an EMS ambulance. Kudo's to the EMS, Police and Firemen.
