Driving without headlights led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man for car theft, police said.

Officers pulled the man over for driving without headlights in Waipahu at about 2:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said officers determined the car the suspect was driving had been reported stolen two weeks ago and arrested the suspect on suspicion of car theft.

Not a good idea to be driving a stolen car at 2:20 AM, when almost anyone out driving at that hour is suspicious.
