Outage cuts power to 4,000 customers in Aiea, Halawa

A power outage affected about 4,000 customers in the Aiea and Halawa areas for about 2.5 hours Thursday night.

Hawaiian Electric spokeswoman Teri Theuriet said an equipment problem caused the outage about 5:30 p.m. Power was restored by 8 p.m., she said.
