Teenagers arrested in Waikiki robbery

Four teenagers allegedly assaulted and robbed a 56-year-old woman and 54-year-old man in Waikiki Thursday night.

Police said the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy, allegedly used physical force to take property from the victims at bout 10 p.m. in Waikiki.

Officers arrested the teenagers at about 11:19 p.m. near the scene.

They were released pending further investigation Friday morning.

I live in Waikiki. Beautiful. I remember Google Maps had "briefly," I suppose with the help of HPD, afforded us a look at certain crimes within a certain map area. I think this "test" locally blanketed Waikiki. This feature which was a part of the HPD website is now gone. Within the last four years I have witnessed outside my kitchen window, two leaping suicides from the adjacent building! Yes! I had PTSD for a month hence. I did not see a whisper of incident in local news. I was told that these incidents do not get reported to the populace. Not good for business. I may agree. I am still traumatized.
