The Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki.

The inaugural Wedding Spot Awards cite 15 Hawaii locations as the most-popular among its site-users.

Hawaii spots already had a bit of a lock, as the general locations chosen by WeddingSpot.com editors were New York, Northern and Southern California, and Hawaii.

The 15 Hawaii winners were cited in various categories of wedding venues ranging from Rustic or Vintage locations, Garden weddings, Beach weddings, Private Estate and Hotel or Resort weddings.

The 15 winners were, St. Regis, Princeville on Kauai; Puakea Ranch in Kona; Haiku Mill in Paia, Maui; the Moana Surfrider Westin in Waikiki; Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s North Shore; the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Waikiki; Kukahiko Estate on Maui; Sunset Ranch in Haleiwa; Gannon’s in Wailea, Maui; Andaz Maui at Wailea; Ocean Gardens at Ko Olina; Dillingham Ranch in Waialua; the Sheraton Kona, Anna Ranch Heritage Center, and Royal Kona Resort, on Hawaii island.

While the website also chose winners among Outdoor, Golf Course, and Ocean or Waterfront weddings, no Hawaii venues were listed in those categories.
