Kauai county identified the employee who died Sunday in an accident at Kekaha Landfill.
Gary Soto, 56, was operating a road grader at approximately 8:30 a.m. when the accident occurred, according to a news release from county spokeswoman Mary Daubert.
The accident is under investigation.
