Workers cleaned up the aftermath of flooding Thursday afternoon inside Shari Saiki Design Studio at Dole Cannery.

Dole Cannery and surrounding offices are being evacuated due to flooding.

Tenants have been told that flooding on the property couldn’t be contained, and that water had entered the first floor of the building including electrical rooms.

The evacuation includes Dole Office Building, Castle & Cooke Building, the Shops at Dole Cannery and the 801 Building.

Just before 3 p.m., The Med-QUEST office at 801 Dillingham Blvd. was closed and evacuated. When it will reopen will be determined after the Department of Human Services makes an assessment.
