Police: Man who fled accident found with drugs, counterfeit money
A 23-year-old Kapolei man is in custody after after he fled from an accident scene and was caught carrying counterfeit money and drugs in Waipahu, police said.
The incident began at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday following a traffic accident. The suspect fled the accident scene, police said. Officers located him on Loaa Street and arrested him on suspicion of several drug violations, second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest, police said.
