Wailuku Inn offers special rates

WAILUKU » The Old Wailuku Inn in Ulupono, Maui, is extending its special spring rates into the summer months.

The new rates are good through Aug. 31 with "graduated" discounts on reservations with a two-consecutive-night minimum:

» Two consecutive nights receive a 10 percent discount.
» Three consecutive nights receive a 15 percent discount.
» Five consecutive nights or more receive a 20 percent discount.

3 Kauai golf courses earn awards

The Grand Hyatt Kaua’i Resort & Spa, the Kauai Marriott on Kalapaki Beach and The St. Regis Princeville Resort received recognition for their world-class golf and resort offerings in the most recent issue of two renowned travel publications.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa and the Kauai Marriott on Kalapaki Beach are both listed on Conde Nast Traveler’s prestigious list of "Top 80 Golf Resorts." The rankings were based on the magazine’s 14th annual "Reader’s Choice Survey," in which thousands of readers cast their votes for the best golf courses and hotels in North America and the Caribbean.

In addition, Celebrated Living magazine named the Princeville Prince Course — located near the St. Regis Princeville Resort and Makai Golf Club — to its Top-20 U.S. Golf Course list.
