The much-anticipated K-pop Wonder Girls’ (above) concerts at Pipeline Cafe have been rescheduled for Friday and Saturday. Tickets for the original June dates can be exchanged or refunded at point of purchase.

Park Jin Young, aka JYP, also will be performing. JYP was in Hawaii in 2003 for "KBS Open Concert" at the Waikiki Shell.

The period action film "Blades of Blood," a Korean movie that was supposed to be released last month at Pearlridge West 16, is now rescheduled for a July 30 release at the same location.

I had the opportunity to screen the film. If you love period action movies with backstabbing palace politics, you will enjoy this one. The main star is Cha Seung Won, who is expected to attend closing night of the Hawaii International Film Festival later this year.
