Pearlridge lands Aeropostale

Aeropostale opened its doors at Pearlridge last month, with 2,900 square feet of casual clothing, slippers and accessories geared toward young men and women.

Among its grand opening deals are $5 graphic T-shirts.

Look for it at Pearlridge Uptown, first level, next to Gymboree.

Don’t worry about trading your comfy summer flats and kitten heels for fall-ready footwear.

Secrets of jade shared in show

Mellow Antiques is hosting a "Jade Jubilee" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and tomorrow to answer your questions about jade, with an opportunity to view exclusive pieces and design your own jewelry.

Shop Japanese at cultural center

A "Mini Things Japanese" sale will take place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii’s Teruya Courtyard.

Up for grabs will be lacquerware, kimono, ceramics, zori, art work and more. All books in the gift shop will be 20 percent off, and prizes will be offered with a spin of a prize wheel.
