Style sensations lead charge back to school
Macy’s line is for living in a material world
Macy’s will launch the Material Girl junior’s collection in stores and online Tuesday.
The line, created in collaboration with Madonna and her daughter Lola, features apparel, footwear, handbags and jewelry, with pieces priced at $12 to $40.
According to press materials, the collection was created for "a spontaneous and fearless individual who is never afraid to make a bold, creative statement. She is influenced by her eclectic taste in music, dance and Hollywood." Much like Madonna herself.
The Fall 2010 collection features a mix of hard and soft elements, like a tutu dress that can be paired with studded combat boots, or an oversized boyfriend sweatshirt with a floral-print miniskirt.
To learn more, visit www.macys.com/materialgirl or the "Material Girl" Facebook and Twitter pages to see behind-the-scenes videos and Lola’s blog.
