Man arrested in connection with Kalihi break-in
Police Tuesday night arrested a 32-year-old man Moanalua Gardens in connection with a burglary in Kalihi last month.
Police said a woman awoke in her home on Aug. 12 to find a man unlawfully in her Kalihi home. After the man fled on foot, the victim, 33, discovered some items missing and filed a burglary report, police said.
The suspect was spotted while visiting family. Police were called, the suspect was identified and then arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
