More than 30 years after releasing their debut album, jazz fusion band Hiroshima (pictured) return to Oahu as the headliners at the inaugural Pacific Rim Jazz Festival.

Apaulo Music Productions will present the Nov. 13 concert at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa’s Hokulani Ballroom. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $60 and $75 general admission; $130 VIP tickets include a pre-show reception with gourmet food tasting stations prepared by Ihilani executive chef Scott Higa, wine tasting and live entertainment. $300 VIP tables are also available; call (951) 696-0184 or visit tix.com.

The festival is a benefit for the Kapolei Foundation, an organization that provides scholarships to deserving Leeward Community College students to promote and nurture Hawaii-based culture and art.

In addition to Hiroshima, scheduled performers include Bobby Caldwell, Rick Braun, Brian Simpson, Pauline Wilson, Michael Paulo and Rene Paulo. Special appearances by Henry Allen, Kathy and Keoki Hirai, DeShannon Higa, Rocky Brown Higa, Jordan Segundo and Al Waterson are also planned.
