Construction workers rupture gas line, closing roads in Iwilei
Construction workers accidentally drilled into an 8-inch gas line, shutting down traffic in the Pacific Street-Iwilei Road area this morning.
The incident began about 9:45 a.m. Roads in the area were closed and then reopened about 12:30 p.m.
There were no injuries, a spokeswoman for The Gas Co. said.
