The defending state champion won the boys race in the Oahu Interscholastic Association championships with a time of 15 minutes, 58.17 seconds at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park. It was his second OIA title in a row.

She won the OIA girls title with a time of 20:20 at CORP.
