Help needed in search for man missing since early October

Honolulu police need help in finding a 50-year-old man who has been missing since the beginning of October. 

William Smith Jr. was last seen in the Waikiki area on Oct. 1. His vehicle was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Salt Lake Shopping Center several weeks later. 

Honolulu Crime Stoppers describe Smith as being "emotionally distraught" and in need of medication. 

He is described as being 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. 

Anyone with information about Smith is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (808) 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cell phone.
