Waipahu man charged with stabbing a teen at a party
A 32-year-old Waipahu man was charged with second-degree assault for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old boy Friday at a Waipahu party.
Jason E. Peter was being held on $11,000 bail.
The teen was at a party in a Waipahu residential complex just before midnight Friday when Peter got into an argument with others at the party, police said.
The teen intervened and was stabbed. He was taken in serious condition to a hospital.
Police arrested Peter at 12:01 a.m. Saturday at his Waipahu Street home.
