Police are investigating a home invasion robbery in which an Enchanted Lake homeowner was pistol-whipped by suspects with 9 mm handguns.

The robbery occurred about 2:30 p.m. yesterday at 1488 Keolu Drive.

At least two men entered the home with handguns, demanding valuables, said Detective Roy Nakama. The man at the home, in his early 30s, told the suspects he did not have anything and was struck several times on the face and body, Nakama said.

The resident was treated for cuts and bruises at the scene.

The suspects took household items, the value of which has not yet been determined.

"TVs, that kind of stuff," Nakama said.

They left in a blue vehicle, possibly an Acura, police said.

One of the suspects is described as a 5-foot-8-inch or 5-foot-9-inch man, and between 175 and 200 pounds. The second male suspect is described as about 6 feet and 150 pounds.

Nakama said there may have been a third suspect who drove the getaway car.

A neighbor said that about five or six years ago, one of the residents of the house was held at gunpoint.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 955-8300. Anonymous tips are accepted.
