Gunman robs Waialae Avenue convenience store
Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a convenience store yesterday in Kaimuki.
The gunman entered the Waialae Avenue store about 3:10 p.m. and demanded money from a 19-year-old woman while brandishing a handgun. When a 54-year-old man attempted to intervene, the robber assaulted him, police said.
The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white-colored van.
