Winnie the Pooh meets "Star Wars" storm troopers at Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii’s 24th annual "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser on Dec. 11.

Kids and their parents are invited to have breakfast or lunch with Santa and popular children’s costumed characters.

"During these difficult economic times, our goal is to raise funds to continue programs and add new programs for the keiki of Hawaii," said Pat Hashimoto, the event’s chairwoman.

Breakfast is 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and lunch is from noon to 2 p.m. The event will be at the Japanese Cultural Center’s Manoa Grand Ballroom, 2454 S. Beretania St.

Tickets are $20 per person for children and adults. Children under 2 do not need a ticket for entry, unless they are having a meal or a seat.

Participants will get a meal, a photo with Santa and a Christmas gift. There will be clowns, magicians, face painting, games and crafts.

To order tickets, go to www.preventchildabusehawaii.org or call 951-0200.
