Farrington keeps rolling
Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo poured in 24 points as the No. 7-ranked Farrington Governors defeated the Moanalua Menehune 60-50 in an OIA girls Red Division game at Farrington yesterday.
Joanna Nicolas sank four baskets from beyond the arc and scored a team-high 22 points for Moanalua. Shantaeus Ramos-Dias added 14 for the Menehune (1-4), who lost their fourth straight game.
Kirsten Liana had 16 points and Ashley Savusa 10 for Farrington (5-0).
Farrington, trailing 17-15 after the first quarter, outscored the Menehune 12-5 in the second quarter for a 27-22 halftime lead.
