Police arrested an 18-year-old man after he attempted to meet with the woman he allegedly robbed last night.

According to the victim, a 35-year-old woman, the man shoved her to the ground and stole her purse as she walked through an alley late Saturday night. The woman called her own mobile phone early Sunday morning and the man who answered said he had her wallet, credit cards and phone.

The two made arrangements to meet, but the woman notified police, who were waiting when the suspect arrived. The woman identified the man and he was arrested for multiple crimes including theft, unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, and drug charges.
