Coroner’s inquest started in death of former Hilo man

Big Island police are conducting a coroner’s inquest in connection with a body found Sunday in Papaikou.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death of 44-year-old Norman Lymann III, formerly of Hilo, who was living on Kauai.

Police found Lymann face down on the Papaikou Beach Trail off Mill Road at 6:24 p.m.

Police do not suspect foul play.
