Hawaiian flights to Korea will feature recent films

Hawaiian Airlines will mark another milestone Wednesday with its inaugural nonstop flight from Honolulu to Incheon International Airport in South Korea. The airline is offering four flights a week.

The in-flight offerings include recent Korean films with English subtitles, such as "Iris: The Movie." Also screening will be the documentary "Arirang," about the early Korean immigrants in Hawaii.

Coincidentally, Jan. 13, 1903, is when the first Korean immigrants arrived in Honolulu to work on the plantations.
