An approaching cold front should reach Kauai tomorrow and will stall and weaken over Oahu on Monday, National Weather Service forecasters say.

Rain, potentially heavy at times, is predicted for Oahu tonight and tomorrow. As much as a quarter-inch of rain is possible tomorrow, forecasters said.

Forecasters say skies should be sunny, but hazy this morning. Clouds ahead of the front will begin moving over Kauai and Oahu, bringing scattered showers becoming more numerous after midnight.

Forecasters say there’s an 60 percent chance of occasional heavy rain tonight, an 80 percent chance of occasional heavy rain tomorrow and a 70 percent chance on Monday.

Winds today and tomorrow will be from the south, increasing to around 16 mph tomorrow, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
