Grants offered for alcohol- and drug-free graduation ceremonies
The Honolulu Police Department is awarding grants of up to $2,000 per school to help subsidize “Project Graduation” celebrations.
Project Graduation celebrations are popular alcohol- and drug-free events held for high school seniors on graduation night.
The funds are available for any public or private high schools on Oahu through a not-for-profit — 501(c)(3) — organization. (Some schools use their PTSA or community association, a church or club to fulfill this requirement.)
For more information, call HPD Finance Division at 723-3219 or honolulupd.org
The deadline is June 15.
