A 64-year-old Indiana man died after collapsing during zip lining tour today on Kauai’s north shore.

Darwin Gilbert complained to staff of fatigue during the morning zip lining tour, a Kauai County spokeswoman said in an e-mail.

He rested for a few minutes then informed tour guides that he was ready to continue.

After completing the zip line, Gilbert fell to one knee and then collapsed. Rescuers were notified of the incident at 12:22 p.m.

Firefighters attempted to revive Gilbert, but he died at the scene. No foul play is suspected.

An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death has not been scheduled yet.
