Janet Landfried was surprised to come across a restaurant called Naturally Kauai during a recent trip to Cape Town, South Africa. The retired teacher, who lives in Redlands, Calif., was born on Kauai (she was known as Kahuamani Bal then) and graduated from Waimea High School. Landfried stopped in the restaurant for a passion fruit-pineapple smoothie and a photo with one of the employees.
