New Schofield Barracks construction contract worth $37.9M
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a $37.9 million contract to a Chicago company to build a tactical maintenance facility at Schofield Barracks.
The Army said awarded the contract to Walsh RMA Joint Venture on Feb. 25 after a sealed bidding competition. The Army said Friday it received 13 bids for the job and Walsh RMA was the lowest responsible bidder.
The project includes parking, a storage building, a hazardous material storage building and a deployment storage building.
