A 57-year-old man with no local address turned himself in to police last night after allegedly stabbing a 61-year-old man multiple times in Whitmore Village, police said.

A good Samaritan took the victim to the hospital at about 8:30 p.m. The victim told officers he had been stabbed by an acquaintance, police said.

The suspect called 911 shortly afterward to turn himself in.  Police arrested him at about 10:30 p.m. at a Kaniahe Street home.
