Waikiki man arrested in assault and abuse case
A 30-year-old man choked a woman and cut the face of another man who tried to intervene during an argument Wednesday in Waikiki, police said.
The man grabbed 28-year-old woman during an argument and began choking her in their Kuhio Avenue home about 8:20 a.m., police said.
A 28-year-old man tried to separate the two when the older man cut his face with a "dangerous instrument," police said.
Officers were called and arrested the man on suspicion of assault and abuse.
