Ceremony to be held for surfer

Sion Milosky, 35, of Rocky Point on the North Shore, a big-wave surfer and winner of the Vans Underground Triple Crown Challenge, will be remembered in a celebration of life ceremony 11 a.m. tomorrow at Prince Kuhio Park, Poipu, Kauai.

Milosky, who was born on Kauai, died March 16 after falling off a big wave at Maverick’s, a surf spot off Half Moon Bay, Calif.

He is survived by wife Susan O. and daughters Awa­kea and Sari­yah. Gathering begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Commemorative paddle-out at noon. Celebration to follow.
