A 43-year-old Maui police officer was charged with abusing a family member in Kihei.
Oscar Martin Del Campo, a 19-year veteran of the force, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. Thursday for abusing a family member, who was not his spouse, Maui police Lt. Wayne Ibarra said.
He posted $1,000 bail and was released. Campo is currently on leave.
