Passenger allegedly tries to steal taxi in Waikiki after refusing to pay fare
A 29-year-old woman allegedly refused to pay her taxi fare, assaulted the 28-year-old male taxi driver, then tried to take his cab last night in Waikiki, police said.
Officers arrived around 8:30 p.m. last night to find the woman throwing items out of the taxi and arrested her on suspicion of second-degree robbery, police said.
