Castle, Mid-Pacific to play for state softball title

Castle’s Leisha Li’ili’i went 4 for 5 with two home runs and six RBIs, including a two-run shot over the left-field fence with no outs in the top of the eighth inning, to lead the Knights over the defending state champion Campbell Sabers.

The Knights will play for the title against Mid-Pacific, which defeated Leilehua 12-1 in the other semifinal of the state softball championship.
