 A 46-year-old court-committed Hawaii State Hospital patient was caught Monday morning after escaping.

Hospital staff caught him and returned him to the hospital. Police arrested the man at 10:50 a.m. for second-degree escape.

He was sent to the state hospital last year after his arrest for terroristic threatening and assault, court records show.
