The University of Hawaii will put 1,620 football season parking passes on sale Tuesday morning in a reverse auction of some of the most desirable locations at Aloha Stadium.

The second annual ‘Ahahui Koa Anuenue booster club online reverse auction will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday and continue until the supply is exhausted, UH said.

Prices for 800 inner circle passes begin at $400, while 400 passes in the bus lot start at $350 and 420 in the Kamehameha lot begin at $300, the same prices as last year. Prices for all three will drop in $50 increments at noon each day until June 4, as long as the supply remains.

A portion of the price is tax deductible, UH said.

Last year UH said it raised nearly $500,000 through the auction, about $200,000 more than was brought in before going to the auction format. Proceeds go to help fund more than 350 athletic scholarships, UH said.

The auction is open to football season-ticket holders who have two or more season tickets. Limits are placed on the number of passes that may be purchased based upon the number of season tickets held.

The auction may be accessed at hawaiiathletics.com. Fans without internet access may visit or call (944-2697) the Stan Sheriff Center ticket office.
