The Honolulu Fire Department hazardous materials team responded to the Moana Vista condominum building this morning. The building is under construction; workers noticed a strange smell and evacuated.
The Honolulu Fire Department Hazardous Materials team was investigating a suspicious odor at the Pacifica Honolulu condominum which is under construction at 1015 Kapiolani Blvd.
Workers said they noticed the odor throughout the 48-story building and evacuated at about 8 a.m.. The workers were sent home for the day.
