2 held in separate cases of threats with knives
Two people were being held for terroristic threatening stemming from two separate incidents involving knives Saturday.
In Pearl Harbor, a 26-year-old man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he allegedly threatened his 21-year-old girlfriend with a pocket knife. He was initially detained by Department of Defense police, when then notified the Honolulu Police Department.
In Kalihi, police arrested a 29-year-old woman who allegedly threatened her 49-year-old uncle with a knife.
According to police, the woman was arguing with her aunt when her uncle tried to intervene. She was arrested on suspicion of first degree terroristic-threatening.
