Man attacked while ‘piggybacking’ friend in Waikiki
A 23-year-old man who was “piggy-backing” a friend through Waikiki early Saturday morning was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured jaw when he was allegedly punched several times in the face by a 21-year-old man, police said.
Police arrested the 21-year-old suspect for investigation of second-degree assault following the 2:40 a.m. attack.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
