Schofield Barracks to hold anti-terrorism exercise

The Army plans to hold an anti-terrorism exercise at Schofield Barracks this week.

U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii says the exercise will lead to heightened security at all gates entering Schofield Barracks during the drills scheduled for Thursday and Friday. It’s advising motorists to expect delays.

Garrison Commander Col. Douglas Mulbury on Tuesday says he’s asking for the community’s patience, understanding and support during the exercise.

The garrison says it holds anti-terrorism exercises each year to prepare the community and employees to effectively respond to and counter terrorist incidents.
