Witnesses to motorcycle crash sought
Police are seeking witnesses to a motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday night in Chinatown.
A 51-year-old Aiea man was taken in critical condition with head injuries to the Queen’s Medical Center after the crash at about 7:45 p.m., police said.
Police said the man, who was not wearing a helmet, was traveling makai on Nuuanu Avenue before North King Street when the motorcycle veered left, fell to the ground and struck a curb. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle.
Police found no witnesses to the crash and urge anyone with information about it to call the HPD Traffic Division at 529-3499.
Woman robbed, beaten in Waikiki
Police were looking for three suspects Monday in connection with a robbery and beating of a 28-year-old woman Sunday night in Waikiki.
At about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, the woman was sitting on a bench when she was confronted by two women in their 20s. The women allegedly assaulted the victim and took her purse, police said.

The victim chased the suspects to a vehicle driven by a man, also in his 20s. The vehicle drove several blocks and pulled into a driveway. The woman caught up with the vehicle but was beaten by its occupants, who then drove off in an unknown direction.
The woman was hospitalized in stable condition. The assailants are sought on suspicion of robbery and attempted murder.

Princeville woman falls at Kauai pool
A 42-year-old Princeville woman was injured Sunday in a fall at Queen’s Bath on Kauai, the county reported.
The accident at the natural shoreline pool occurred at about
3:14 p.m. A crew from the Hanalei Fire Station arrived at the scene at 3:26 p.m. and was joined by Rescue 3 personnel.
A helicopter lifted the woman to a landing area at Princeville, where an ambulance took her to Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
The extent of her injuries was not disclosed.
