Police look for woman wanted for failing to attend probation hearing
Police are asking for the public’s help to find a 31-year-old woman wanted on a $20,000 contempt warrant for failing to appear for a probation hearing May 5.
Brandie Navarro was convicted of forgery in 2010. Navarro tried to cash a large check at the Kapiolani branch of Bank of Hawaii on July 7, 2009, but the bank contacted the account holder because of the large amount, police said. The owner of the account said the check was fraudulent.
She is 5 feet 1 and 121 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cell phone.
