Pearl City woman charged with crystal meth trafficking
A 33-year-old Pearl City woman appeared in District Court this morning after she was arrested and charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree methamphetamine trafficking and other drug offenses..
Brandy Lolotai was being held on $100,000 bail.
The Hoolehua Street woman was arrested at her home about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday for firs-degree methamphetamine trafficking, a class A felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison, and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia.
The offenses stem from incidents in 2007 and 2008.
First-degree meth trafficking is defined as possessing an ounce or more of methamphetamine or its compounds; distributing an eighth of an ounce or more of methamphetamine or its salts; distributing meth to a minor; or manufacturing any amount of meth, also known as “ice.
