» The city Parks and Recreation Department’s District 1 covers the area from McCully to Sandy Beach, not Aina Haina to Waialae, as stated in a Page A2 article Thursday.
» The amount of solar-generating capacity added to the Hawaiian Electric Co. grid on Oahu equaled 7,114 kilowatts installed during the first six months of 2011, 7,286 kilowatts in 2010 and 2,849 kilowatts in 2009. A Page D1 article Sunday and an accompanying graphic referred to megawatts instead of kilowatts.
» Solar collectors in a project on Hickam land are estimated to produce 5.6 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, not 5.6 million kilowatts, as stated in a letter to the editor on Page A15 Wednesday. Also, the generated electricity is enough to power 10 150-watt light bulbs per household per year in 2,000 homes, not two bulbs per home per year.
