Calif. guard commits to play for UH men’s basketball team
Garrett Jefferson, a guard at Citrus College (Calif.), has committed to play for the Hawaii men’s basketball team.
Jefferson (6-foot-3, 180 pounds) is expected to bring an upgrade of athleticism to the perimeter for the Rainbow Warriors.
He will be a sophomore with three years of eligibility. Jefferson averaged 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes a game as a Citrus freshman.
Jefferson was valued for his defensive ability. He averaged 1.4 steals per game.
